Daniel Jon Peterson - Data Person

I’m a Software Engineer at the National Azheimer’s Coordinating Center(NACC) at UW, formerly with Octave Bioscience and the University of Washington Department of Radiology.

Some projects I’ve worked on:

  • Developing a Data Platform for imaging components of the national ADRC program
  • Developing a pipeline for analysis of MS lesions and atrophy
  • Making it easy for folks to get a 3D print of their brain from an MRI scan
  • Monitoring degnereration in Alzheimer’s disease
  • Atypical dementias (FTD, PSP, CBD)
  • Diffusion methodology - improving image processing
  • Automated segmentation of spinal cord diffusion images
  • Diffusion imaging in Autism, ADHD and dyslexia
  • Experiment development for solution-state NMR
